Thanks Dma, before the pot issue came up, I was all about the car even though the damage is very minimal. It may cost 300 max. Once the cop told me about the pot, I figured it is not even worth pusuing for damages to the car. Me pursuing him for damages to the car may not be best use of my time. I do have good coverage on my auto insurance, it would not even hit my deductible and if will have a claim on my record. | ||

You are very safe. nothing to worry about. Ikkada 2 things vunnaayi. 1. Your car Insurance - Check with cops and try to get proper insurance info. If he did not have any insurance, you may have to use your insurance. Hope you have uninsured and under insured insurance. If not, you are out of luck. If you do, you will not get any negative points but, you may have to pay your deductible. 2. Other guys POT case. They may call you for witness to just tell them what happened. But, you are very safe. nothing to worry. You can testify. If you are worried, you can call some local attorney and get an opinion.
