For my parents, i got all medicines from India from antibiotics, allergies to BP. We spoke to our doctor and she said she can prescribe the medicine which you bring from India. Utter mein gutter waste of money in my view, don't even buy it. it is a hell to go through their claim process and in the end, most of time they reject claims. A very close friend had to go through this, so will never recommend this to anyone. | ||

+1. Take a plan and pray to god that they enjoy the visit without any issues. We can never plan any of these, my MIL was in perfect health until she had to go to hospital here on one of her trips, so we never know. | ||

USA lo medical insurance for parents will be only useful if they get hurt. They do not cover any preconditions. In this scenario , Indian insurance may workout very well like ICICI lombart. US lo visitors ki Insurance is just for peace of mind!!!! Pre existing conditions ee insurance cover cheyyadhu except that Kvrao (charges premium) .... Best way is get all medical checkups done at India, carry medical history/reports, stock medicines for stay period, include all antibiotics per doctor guidance, bring prescription for glasses, pain relievers, any seasonal change medicines .... Pick a plan with less premium visitors are good at health, less day to day complications ... Enjoy the visit!!!! | ||
