Bhayya.. If I have 30% kind of growers with clean balance sheet and earnings visibility then whats the wrong with no. of stocks.. I am sure with this kind of portfolio I will go for bankrupt...at the same time returns also will not compromise... But if any one stock performs bad in any concentrated portfolio (ex. satyam) then its gone case..it takes lot of time to recover... Afterall diff. opinions makes up the market. Some of Waren buffet theorys will not applicable to latest trend,especially for indian market. see Gruh finance it went for one year time correction..still my Portfolio performed better.. For me it does not matter how many stocks I am holding..what matters is quality stocks with clean balance sheet and earnings visibility with nill/less livarage. offcourse..if i am not having time to track those..then definately I will reduce the no. of stocks... an also my PF net worth is increasing..so it needs that much diversification... | ||

Bhayya.. my PF worth is 1.8 cr I am decided to hold those 17 stocks..as those r my high conviction bets and having enough time to track those. and also am have set few guidelines like non of the stock should have more than 10% allocation. So I am comfortable with that no.. | ||

17 stocks is too heavy for rao pf worth.with that many stocks it is not possible to generate consistent CAGR for longterm Warren Buffett once said, âDiversification is protection against ignorance, it makes little sense for those who know what theyâre doing.â | ||
