if you want to bring them like your Own religion, if not Chirtian, donot celebrate any such events. Instead if you wanna give any gifts do it on a relevent festival of yours But Ligts, Gifts, Santa , Family Gatherings, celebrations Mark Excellent Holiday Spirit in Winter. Need not be confined to one Religion. Children def enjoy if you show them all these, even if you don't celebrate. Once they become 7-8 they will realize who is the real Santa | ||

If you send your kid to day care, schools and mix with other non-desi kids in neighborhood, that is enough. You don't have to put effort to explain Santa, Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy etc. | ||

Im guessing the plurality of this board is hindu and based in the US. How do you explain all these Abrahamic religious motifs (easter bunny etc...) that your kids face on a day to day basis and on holidays do they question you about it? |
