Cong and BJP coming together to pass a NCM is a bit far fetched ....AAP has to tread carefully the next 6 months...after parliament elections cong will be in a sad state to justify pulling down the AAP govt...cong will let AAP take the blame and bide time rather than give BJP the ruling in delhi....they have to keep AK alive to use him against the modi wave...they need some other fellow to counter the good governance slogan of NM... | ||

Nothing good will come out of tying up with either of the two ... the best case scenario is losing a NCM for one issue or the other but their governance will be dictated by the supporting party. I think they need to go for elections again. Its a grand experiment of fresh governance unencumbered by legacy politicians policies or ploys in governance AK asked and the people have given him a mandate ... thats what elections are for but you cant do ballot box governing for the next 5 years ... nobody has to declare anything.....here AAP is getting outside support not forming an alliance or coalition govt...just like 1996 third front with cong support...when cong pulled the rug everybody went back to fighting elections on their own...good thing with AAP forming govt is we can guage what they can do not just listen to their idealogy which is getting utopian day by day...

Well - he is stuck between a rock and a hard place right now If his voters are saying form the govt. and he does not - he is messing up his chances in the re-election Agree forming govt. now is not a good option either - but he has to go with what his voters are saying to retain that support .. AAP to form government in Delhi with Congress support? Meenakshi Upreti CNN-IBN | 20- Dec-2013 19:38 PM New Delhi: Even as Assembly elections results of Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Mizoram were declared almost together, except for the first mentioned all the other four states have got a new government. In Delhi the term of the Assembly is over, but the deadlock over forming the government in the national capital still continues with the Aam Aadmi Party waiting for the results of its SMS-web poll. AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal has sought time till Monday to seek the people's verdict through SMSes and on the party website on whether the party should form the government with Congress's support or not. The party claims to have launched a massive exercise to reach out to voters in all the 70 constituencies of Delhi. There is intense pressure from the people on AAP leaders to form the government in Delhi with Congress's support. This is another moment of reckoning for debutant Arvind Kejriwal and in next 72 hours the AAP will have to take a final call on the matter. The referendum seeking public opinion has now entered its last leg and sources indicate that the party is inching towards government formation. Taking a dig at the Congress, AAP leader Shazia Ilmi said, "Why is the Congress supporting us now? People of Delhi can wait for few more days." The Congress too stepped up the attack on AAP by saying that why was the oarty shying away from forming the government. Newly appointed Delhi Congress chief Arvinder Singh Lovely said, "Do they fear that they won't be able to deliver? We are ready to give them support then why are they shying away?" On the other hand the third party in this whole saga, the BJP which won the maximum number of seats in the Assembly wants to play safe and sit pretty in the opposition.Party leader Harsh Vardhan said, "I have always said that AAP is Congress's B team." Meanwhile, AAP sources have claimed that people have put their weight behind them and have provided an overwhelmingly support to form the government with the Congress. There are many in the AAP who see this as an opportunity to perform and catch the imagination of the electorate outside Delhi in the run up to the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. Skeptics though are questioning the Congress motives in lending support to the AAP and see it as a trap to force the AAP deliver on its grandiose poll promises. Everyone is now eagerly waiting to see that whether the giant killer of the Delhi elections will finally bite the bullet. | ||
