Venky is playing the role of a politician, who happens to be a Home Minister of state in the upcoming ‘Radha’. According to some insiders, this Maruthi directorial is a stark satire on present day society and politics. The film will proceed in the lines of Shankar’s Oke Okkadu, and will have a fantastic dose of action elements laced with intelligent scenes. For the first time ever, Maruthi is ditching his famous boothu comedy brand and heading straight for a commercial wonder. Never in his career, Venky had played the role of a politician and it will be a treat to see him excel in that role. According to reports, Radha’s shooting is going to start from Sankranthi 2014, and the movie is expected to hit theatres by May. For now Venky is busy hearing other scripts, while Maruthi is directing Allu Sirish in ‘Kotha Janta’.  | ||
