No- confidence motion against the UPA has been brought in Parliament. Both the houses of Parliament have been adjourned till 12 noon on Tuesday after MPs form Seemandhara and Telangana region created rucks over the United Andhra issue, JPC report and 2G scam. The Lok Sabha was adjourned after MPs from the Seemandhra region shouted slogans against division of Andhra Pradesh state to create Telangana, drowning out question hour. Six Congress MPs from Seemandhara region have moved a no-confidence motion saying that the Centre is not protecting the interests of Seemandhara region by bifurcating Andhra Pradesh to create Telangana. "Because of Congress we lost four states in the recent Assembly elections. Even a good Chief Minister like Sheila Dikshit lost because Congress cannot do anything. It is the time for the Congress to hang up its boots," Congress MP Lagadapati Rajagopal said. Meanwhile, TDP MP Venugopal Reddy claimed that 84 MPs from various parties will support the motion. He also said that stand of BJP on Telanaga will also become clear now. The motion needs the support 50 MPs to be admitted. In the Rajya Sabha, members shouted out proceedings over the Joint Parliamentary Committee report on the 2G spectrum issue and Telangana issue. | ||
