No confidence would be a pro-SA stand which goes against his pro-T letter. So his "two eyes" stand will fail. Babu gets some blame for giving priority to political surival.
Its a mistake on part of Bob to do this. But by this time, T movement thonda mudiri oosaravelli ayyindi. Atma hatyalu, udyamaalu etc started. But it did not contribute to T udyamam anyway. I will say one thing against CBN. He could have formed a private committee of his own with statesmen and leaders from IAS, IPS, Court judges retired and in service and he could have done a parallel study of the problems and proposed his own solutions. He would have appeared like backing up his samanyayam. Even though he still means it, I feel, he did not do justice to his experience as 9 year CM as someone who wants to justice to both regions. | ||

CBN gave pro-T letter. It definitely must have given Congress a political advantage because if they give T they can target him. But saying CBN mosi mosi kannadu means you have some anti-CBN agenda. If you talk facts, he is not in power. How will he give state. He can state his position. Whether to give state and how to divide is the responsibilty of Congress and UPA. So, nuvvu konchem CBN mosi, mosi yetla kannado Telangana ni vivaristhe santoshistaamu. | ||

Everyone is talking about YSR as one who took 41 MLAs representation and letter. What about these things : 1) Making sure T is put in Congress manifesto 2) Making Kalaam declare it in his speech that T will be addressed 3) Bringing Sonia Gandhi to AP and have her state that T will be given 4) Second SRC will be set up to give T 5) Tieup with TRS in 2004 elections Even though second SRC seems like a wise decision, it is all these acts that gave Telangana demand a certain legitimacy and foot hold. He was one man show. Once he died, his authority to control TRS died with him. There was no backup for him who could continue his policy. Responsible and powerful leaders starting agitations in democracy is a dangerous game with fire. |
