There are 18 DMK members, 9 AIADMK members, 1 MDMK member. We need to create a personalized message as PDF in Tamil about the loss Tamils will face because of this and how the bifurcation of AP is unfair. We should focus on "no water to the Telugu Ganga project", "Unfair treatment to south indians", "today it happened to the telugus, tomorrow it may happen to Tamils. attack on linguistic identity". End of the day, this message may not really appeal to them compared to what Sonia had to offer them. we need to send another personalized message to the loosing candidates in 2009 elections and assembly members in these constituencies about what their MPs are going to do and how the step will force their state into misery. This being an election year, they will try all methods to show their MP in bad light. so this is an opportunity for this. we need to take the help of any Tamilian friends in the US to come up with the right script. | ||

Here is my though process. This may or may not work. This requires lot of work. Volunteers from our DB should try this. It may work. Meeku political contacts unte, things may work out even better. There are 543 members of parliament currently including the speaker and the nominated members. - 16 members from Telangana will vote for the T-bill regardless of whatever happens that leaves 527 members to be targeted. - Hopefully all the 25 seemandhra MPs will vote against the bill. I hope they need not be targeted. Even if they vote for the bill, there is nothing we can do. That leaves us 502 members. - Shiv sena, CPM and Trinamul congress and JDS have committed for the formation of Telangana state. so the 47 members also need not be targeted(Thanks Jagan). That leaves 455 members. - RLD, Sonia and her trusted 40 members can't go against her. so can't do much, so that leaves us 415 members. we need to address each group of members on a personalized basis. More thoughts in my next post. |
