severance is a salary, they will report it to state employment commission. i never claimed unemployment benefits, technically you should claim unemployment benefits , some of the security clearances they will ask the reason for not claiming unemployment benefits, even if you are un employed for 30 days you should claim, | ||

If you got laidoff with 3 month severance package.. Can we claim unemployement benifits? Does the companies look in to it before hiring , whether i took the benifits or not? Any credit history impact? Any impact on my citizenship , after 2 years? Is it really worth? |
