hehe ..gfx drivers anni up to date ..main reason for formatting is i have so many prev versions of windows folders ..avvi clean cheyaleka pothunna..andhuke malli clean chesi old aina golden xp eddhamani choosthunna anthe.

my laptop came with visa home basic ..dhaanni meedha win 7 pro chesanu appati nundi display problems unnai ..andhukani more stable version aina XP ki velthe baguntadhi kadha ani ..otherwise you have valid point..thx

Do u have warranty or try to connect with external monitor o am sure it will not have display issue onexternal monitor than it will be confirmed with OS

what are gotchas ? usually when i keep my xp cd it should show format option ..but i dont see it now ..if i dont format it it is going to be another os ..
