I liked this comment in slickdeals.. so posting it here... I think the same too..... -------------------- I'm guessing around 95% of the people here who are ordering this card are doing so because: 1) It's free and/or 2) they really don't know what it is or what it's going to do for them 5% of the people are getting the card because they _think_ it might be useful and help them. People... this is simply a card that allows you to spend your Google Wallet money where ever a physical Mastercard is accepted. It's not a magic card that creates unicorns (I read the FAQ... there was no mention of unicorns). Perhaps the only people who might really find a good use for the card are those who have a bank account but no credit card and they shop someplace that does not accept debit cards. In return, Google will use the purchase information to target ads. Not a big deal. ---------------------------- | ||
