One of my friends younger kid was born with a congenital heart defect and had a major heart surgery around 18 months. After that house mottam Wodden floor chepinchar. From the moment the elder brother came back from day care they used to first give him a bath and then blow his nose good. Even duppatlu anni very carefull ga pick chesaru kid ki. Anti alergic material edo untundi kada, not sure though. She is a beautiful kid but god was tough. They pulled through with that post op care good. We did not see the kid until she recovered from the surgery and was getting better. Nobody even didnt want to visit her because more than taking a look at the kid her well being was important. He used to send pictures of her time to time. Hope your kid makes a complete recovery bro. | ||

Thanks All. Very rough last one and half a year, physically and emotionally. I just tried to stay positive no matter what. Now, we need to guard her very carefully at home for this winter to not have any viral infections. She'll always be at a high risk of infections.

2-3 months nunchi medicaid etc gurinchi tension paduthuntey...last month insurance put in a proposal to include nursing costs in the policy, probably thinking that that cost might be less than the cost in a institution. adhi postpone avuthu vachindhi. meanwhile, i had to submit lease termination notice for my apartment - in case I had to move to PA. This thursday, after quite a few meetings with my employer, they approved the nursing coverage for 24 hrs a day (hospital wanted 16 hrs mandatory). Chaaalaa pedhha relief idhi. Otherwise, I was preparing so many plans. This is really huge for my elder one as well, we can continue the same day care, same environment. All through this, the hospital staff at CHOP have been PHENOMENALLY helpful and supportive. I can't explain in words the appreciation i have for them. And thanks to you all - OT, Anand, Rajusk etc who helped me. Insurance says they have to review the nursing support every 90 days. But, the hospital staff says that's fine. Strange thing is when i asked the insurance to provide the approval in writing, they said they usually don't do that. But, hospital staff said they won't do anything until they get that letter and they'll push the insurance to get that. Of course, now, I have to find a new place to move to in NJ itself. That is absoultely fine. But, a BIG BIG relief for us not having to move to PA. |
