The TRS leader, reportedly, met the Congress high command last month in New Delhi where it was made clear to him that upon merger, KCR’s son K Taraka Rama Rao, one of the key leaders in the party, will get the Deputy CM post. His daughter Kavitha, also a prominent leader, heading Telangana Jagruti, a cultural outfit of the TRS, will get a Rajya Sabha berth. However, since KCR wants the CM’s post in the new state for himself and nothing less, the proposed merger is stalled for now, TRS sources say.
