In response to the article , Telugu People across the world gave a big slap on media house with a trending tag on twitter called #ShameOnIBN , This tag became super sensational on twitter and humiliated CNN-IBN heads . Senior Journalist Rajdeep Sardesai of CNN-IBN was been frustrated by tweeters who love Chiranjeevi, by tweeting using the tag #ShameOnIBN. Interestingly, This tag was trending at top on twitter for last few hours , which was irritating the CNN-IBN heads and bringing down their reputation. At one point of time, Rajdeep replied saying that � We will not bullied and said no article will be removed and no apology will be given . Will CNN-IBN Apologize To Chiranjeevi? Megastar Chiranjeevi has given up his successful film-career for his political entry and later had seen all the highs & lows of being a politician. But, he has always been the victim of biased-media in Andhra Pradesh and was made a scapegoat whenever an opportunity was there. The reasons behind this were purely personal though [caste/image]. Few days back, leading TV channel: CNN-IBN has published a degrading article on Chiranjeevi with a title ÃÆïÃâÿÃâý Decline Of Chiranjeevi: From Megastar To A Big Zero In AP on their on-line portal ibnlive.com. The article has purely focussed on highlighting the failures of Chiranjeevi as a politician and generalized everything according to their convenience. They have even gone to an extent of saying that there will be NO attention given to Chiranjeevi at this point of time even if he walks on the crowded roads of Andhra Pradesh. This has irked the fans of Chiranjeevi and has taken the social media networks by storm. This made the fans to trend #ShameOnIBN world-wide and made the top heads of CNN-IBN like Rajdeep Sardesai to notice the dissent! Rajdeep has initially rejected the concerns, but later agreed that he will publish a Counter-Article instead. Surprisingly, the media house has published the counter-article written by an ardent fan named: Naveen and also the response to this counter-article. A journalist named D P Satish belongs to IBN published an article named âDecline of Chiranjeevi: From mega star to a big zero in Andhra Pradeshâ is against to the matinee idol. As per the article, Chiranjeevi was a Mega Star 5 years ago is now nothing in the state after entering into politics. However, this is utterly wrong. Seems like, they have taken inputs from other party or anti Chiru fans. Fact is if a person is in films, public will see only positive sides of him. However, if the person enters politics, opposition leaders and antis try to investigate slip-ups of him. IBN reported, people threw stones and eggs at him and verbally abuse him, whilst it is true that two miscreants belonging to the rival YSRCP party did pelt two stones at Chiranjeevi's convoy, they were however later apprehended and handed over to the police. It should be noted that this is a politically motivated act more than an illegal display of emotional outburst of general public. The article also wrote about Chiranjeevi facing ire of Seemandhra people as he is not taking part in the ongoing agitations.
