New Delhi: BJP president Rajnath
Singh has assured a delegation of
Seemandhra BJP leaders who met him
on Wednesday, that the party will
raise the issues bothering the
Seemandhra people during the
Parliament’s upcoming winter
session.
A delegation of BJP leaders led by
former MLA Kambhampati Haribabu
met Rajnath Singh to bring to his
notice the concerns of Seemandhra
people. The state leaders complained
to Rajnath about the statements of
Telangana leaders to the effect that
they will stop building of Polavaram
project, as most of the areas to be
submerged fall in the Telangana
region.
Hari Babu requested Rajnath to see
that the submergences areas are
made part of the residual Andhra
Pradesh after the state is divided.
