finally got my visa.. Im a chemical engineer..working full time..221g padindi..because of my background. luckyga germanylo maa hq vallu visa extend cheyinchaaru.. worked for 2 more weeks form here..last tuesday passport pampamannadu ivaaala passport vachindi... 3rd countrylo stamping kastha jagrattha.. also..I found out that it is illegalo to mail Indian passport out of India.. even couriers wont accept passports | ||

contacted US Consulate in Frankfurt asked him if I can apply for H1 in Frankfurt even if I am with a business visa in germany. They replied that I cana pply, however home country is generally recommended. Tourists can schedule visa appointments in different places. For any questions they are charging 15 Euros http://germany.usembassy.gov/visa/infoservice/ New Telefonnumber: 09131-772-2270 (starting October 18, 2013) Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Due to amendments of the German Telecommunications Act, our appointment and information contractor, Computer Sciences Corporation, can no longer offer 0-900 telephone service. Applicants for nonimmigrant visas may make appointments and obtain information from a live operator at 09131-772-2270. There is a â¬15 charge for this service, payable by credit card. If you do not own a credit card, you may (with permission) use one belonging to a relative or friend.â Applicants still have the option of making an appointment online at http://www.usvisa-germany.com/germany/index.jsp. There is a $10 charge, payable online. We regret the necessity of this change. The Department of State and the U.S. Mission in Germany are working on a system which will eliminate extra fees for visa information, making appointment and delivery of visas. We expect to implement this system in December. | ||

i remember that the countries other than Mexico and Canada wont do US visa stamping for visitor/business visa. You need atleast 6 months stay to get the Visa stamped. I may be wrong but call US embassy to make sure the latest procedure. | ||

Attorney ni kanukkunte you can get it stamped in germany parledu ani cheppaaru.. naadi first time h1..valid till aug 31, 2016...but germany ki only single entry visa undi.. Will contact embassy tomorrow anyways and let them know to be on safe side.. | ||

I am not sure but they will check the length of residence permit if its less than a year and will ask to attend from home country for first timers some thing like that. I dont think its the same case with renewal? some one hud enlighten with thier first hand xperinces. | ||
