CGI's sourcing of recources especially human resources was down right worst. Individual state exchange implementation ki 3-4 developers etti kaniddam ani kuda anukunnaru..oka pedda project esp with a tight timelines- osthe you need to make sure you have redundancy in workforce. Contractor sourcing kuda worst.staffing firms ki iche requirements ki vala requirements asalu link ledhu. |

CGI is at fault for not letting govt. know that project will be missing its milestones. That is a dumbass move on their part. I have seen way too many vendors make this mistake on their projects for fear of loosing business with customers. |

----------------- Others point fingers at the Department of Health and Human Services, which took years to issue final specifications, preventing CGI from really getting started until this spring. ----------------- For MOST of the Government projects, the above is TRUE. I know this personally as I have been working on one since several years. |

DB lo vinipinchina excuses from CGI side are true too...but as i said company cannot escape the blame ! What exactly went wrong? * They didn't have enough money to build it from the start. * Others point fingers at the Department of Health and Human Services, which took years to issue final specifications, preventing CGI from really getting started until this spring. * Built on a sloppy software foundation |

Overtime chesi chesi..."People are getting sick, fainting in conference calls." What's it like inside the company these days? The healthcare.gov debacle has taken its toll on the working environment at CGI Federal's 10-story complex in Fairfax, Va., according to a staffer working on a related project who asked not to be named. "There's been a lot of agitation and anger, because CGI really prides itself on having family flexibility," he said, noting the firm's liberal telework policy. Instead, the Obamacare contract has sucked more and more staff off other projects, and people have been working around the clock to first get the site ready for Oct. 1, and then fix it when things started to go wrong. "There's a lot of frustration," the staffer said. "People are getting sick, fainting in conference calls." http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/wonkblog/wp/2013/10/16/m eet-cgi-federal-the-company-behind-the-botched-launch-of-hea lthcare-gov/ |
