Nenu oka 7-8 years internet lo time pass chesanu..so some free advice. I feel that the design of the site needs quite a bit of overhaul. Not sure what the intent of the site is - if it just a blog or is it going to mutate into something bigger. Discoverability of the content is quite weak, images are very bad in terms of quality (am sure you can have better quality images that will not affect page load times), hyperlink your articles across the site so that people can spend more time...get some statistics and fantasy games going...there is also some confusion, how is the cricket featured articles different from the cricket posts on. i can list a hundred other things.. sorry for being harsh but the design of the home page, the colours, the fonts, the resolutions of the images are very amateurish...in fact the entire landing page is a waste of a page as people do not consume anything there but have to dig deeper to find what they want...put more content on the home page I would also urge you to include other niche sports like badminton, chess, golf, F1 etc. There is no site in India that focuses on these sports that have a small but passionate follower group. You can tie up with content providers for the articles or other bloggers. This is really an untapped market. Let's accept it - there is no point going head on with Cricinfo. Focus on segments that are not tapped. | ||
