Martyr had deferred his leave due to Pak firing The Indian Army said that Feroze Khan had refused to go on leave to celebrate Bakrid with his family in the wake of continued firing by Pakistani forces even as his leave application was approved. Khan preferred to be on the front as there was intelligence input and increased activity along the LoC. He was martyred in yet another ceasefire violation by Pakistan. Pakistan's provocations along the LoC are continuing unabated. There have been 12 ceasefire violations within a week, with four cases of violation reported on Tuesday alone. According to army sources, there are about 800 trained terrorists in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK), of which 40 are waiting along the LoC to cross over to India.
