Good thoughts, but without anyone in the GoM from Andhra who understands local situations, history, culture etc. how can they even appreciate and work upon what you suggested. The UPA or the GoM does not have the sagacity or the diplomatic skills and more importantly the credibility right now to discuss these issue. These should have been handled before the announcement. After the announcement has been done, both sides end up taking inflexible stands. | ||

I thought of adding Jublee Hills but Jublee Hills does not have a common boundary with any of the above mentioned 6 constituencies. Continous boundary is important kada. | ||

My solution to this problem. Create a new parliament constituency named "cyberabad" and add that to Andhra. Andhra will have 26 Parliament constituencies. Remove the chevealla constituency from Telangana. Telangana will have 16 Parliament seats. Cyberabad will have 7 assembly constituencies "Acchampet" and "Kalwakurthy" from Nagar Kurnool Parliament, "Maheshwaram" , "Rajendra Nagar" and "Seri lingampally" from Chevella constituency, "Kukatpally" from Malkakjgiri cocnstituency and one of "Kutbulla pur" or "Sanath Nagar" or "Chevella" constituencies. The above arrangement will solve the following problems 1. Hyderabad Revenue is shared. 2. Job issues are solved. 3. The claim that Hyderabad is developed before 1956 as the areas added were not part of Hyderabad before 1980. 4. Srisailam is under Andhra completely. Jurala is under Telangana completely. water fights will stop. If T messes up in jurala, A will mess up in Sri sailam. Checks and balences are maintained. 5. Acchampet and Kalwakurthy will get into the growth corridor instead of being border constituencies in one state. Some logistics which should be addressed 1. GHMC should remain intact and take care of civic needs of the area. 2. BSF should be stationed in GHMC area to over look security for the next 10 years. Commissioners of cyberabad and Hyderabad should dotted line report to BSF in addition to their respective DGPs. 3. GHMC expenses if in negative should be equally shared between both the states. 4. ORR should be brought under NHAI. 5. No road tax between AP and T for 50 years. 6. Encourage members of civil society from both the sides to create a unique culture for GHMC. This is in line with option 4 of SriKrishna commitee. If congress is sincere, they can do this without a constitutional amendment. Any ideas as to how I can send this to GOM> |
