bro, I can understand your confusion, I was on same boat before. If you cant find co-founders, find employees who can work in a startup but from your posts I see you don't want to invest money I didn't understand your product and I don't want to ask since you applied for patent. I was in Tech-Grocery business till recently so I can tell you for sure this business runs on very tight rope even small wrong step would bring in huge losses. From your posts it looks like you have invented some thing that's not there before, so its going to disrupt the existing process. First thing any client would look in you is your capability to support (even if you offer for free)before he starts using your product which might disrupt existing process, what happens if system breaks and you are not available? his business may loose money. Being lone ranger you cant support 600 clients at the max may be 6. Nobody likes to work with an army of freelancers but with dozen dependable employees they feel safe. to me it looks like you have 2 options: 1) start a proper company, find co-founders, funding etc.. & go after each client one after the other. 2) wait till you get patent, demo your product in couple of tech events and sell it off with patent rights.
yes, Mark Zuckerberg employed your friends (for free) as his sales team and made them ask you 'why aren't you on facebook yet?". This model works for individual users who doesn't have any thing loose when your product breaks. But for business they need confidence on your ability to support & invent in future, they cant afford to break/change the process in the company. Lots of companies doesn't use open source why? one other suggestion is to write business plan (even if its a non profit org), try liveplan.com. share it with some one who has been running a business. hope it helps.... | ||

why will a vc mentor me for free. Also i tried this VC approach... they look at team, team, team. I am solo man army here. Okka quality co-founder koda dorkaledu so far. I've met technically capable people too...but nobody has the drive, ambition, passion. They all find the product interesting. But they are not determined. Also....i have spoken to prospective customers. Trust me I did my R&D. It was built centered around the business owner. I am confident it will be a success. The biggest problem I have at the moment is not the product itself. If I want to I can deploy it anytime. Getting it to the market is tough. I understand how you guys see it... but like I said ...did mark zuckerberg have to meet each one of us to tell us to use facebook ? No...this is kind of like that. I am targeting to gain 600 businesses by year end 2014. So ee time lo...veelani andarni meet avali antey challa kashtam. I have designed the product to speak for itself....like it..sign up and start using it. Also my quick exit strategy makes sense for me because this is a not profit venture. i am offering it for free. if you don't have time nor patience to meet your prospective customers then why the hell should your customers do???
How could you build a robust s/w or what ever it is with out knowing your target customers? find out more about them. talk 2-3 good customers have patience to listen to their feedback things can take U turn.
lot of entrepreneur go to VC's for mentoring rather than money itself. Instead of thinking top to bottom think bottom to top how would you get your first customer and why would he buy from you especially when you don't have time, patience & you want to sell off in 3 years. Before you take any other step try talking to 2-3 prospective customers. My another suggestion is to go and read lean startup by eric ries should help you in your situation. Good luck bro | ||

brother asalu ee business naku nachindi mainly because of less human interaction. sit back and relax avuthunnapudu i want the business to grow by itself. i need 600 business owners using it in coming 1 year...i dont have to meet each and everyone. I have tried this approach. it is damn difficult if you are dealing with bureaucracy or anyone besides the owner/CEO. antha time, patience naku ledu. imagine if u told some CRM app company to go convince each customer by meeting... they simply cannot meet -- too many targeted people too little time.

Either by barter system - u enter one contact to get one contact or buy ala... again that will work for sales people... to reach out to say the business people using their products (for eg software etc or medical etc)... but me product related not sure...
