Her son fell sick. She tried some household remedies but the illness started getting worse with time. Being poor she couldn't afford going to a doctor. She couldn't bear watching her son wailing in pain. She carried her son on her back and roamed around from one doctor to another with hope that at least someone would help cure her son, but in vain. The poor lady then went to a Sadhu - Mahatma begging him to save her son, but Alas! Even his doors were closed for her; because she was a Dalit!

The poor woman carried her son along from door to door, to every wealthy family possible but none would offer to help her. Then someone advised her, there is a temple in the village where they offer a "Yellow Flower" as Prasad. If the woman could get that flower then her son could be saved. Hearing this, a ray of hope shone into her dark life. She forgot about her hunger and pain for a moment and ran towards the temple hoping to get the yellow flower from the Pujari as soon as she could. But she was stopped at the very entrance of the temple. They called her a dalit, untouchable and insulted her and pushed her away from the temple! She kept crying and yelling "Please give me the yellow flower and I'll walk away", but they were too deaf to hear her cry, too blind to see her pain. The poor woman kept wailing till her son died."

The message given at the end of the skit: "The cry of the poor sick boy, the anguish of the mother's heart might have not been heard by the insensitive people around her; but seeing this injustice done to a human God surely would have cried!"

Young Narendra's sent a very strong message to the people then, "Everyone are equal in the eyes of God. God gives equal joy and sorrow to each soul yet humans are not satisfied with their own share and gets too greedy. Following such practices of untouchability is a sin."
