Romans....great appa......appati vallu.....

pantheon choosinaka xtianity ye range lo kummindho appati cultures ni anpinchindhi. I would go back just to visit all the museums in rome and florence. amazing how well those guys nurtured their culture and history.

also TI unkul, language can be quite a problem. funny but we struggled to find local italians who can understand english. even ordering food in restaurants used to be a pain. antha tourist city lo kooda you end up looking for americans or fellow indians. karma.

- most key places of rome can be covered on walk. it's a lot of fun doing that. get a stroller for the kid, will make your life easy. must dos are the pantheon, at least one museum and the trevi fountain. you can of course get a taxi anywhere.
- I think the colosseum is a little hyped up but if you have time, try that.
- an evening dinner near one of the piazzas is a great experience. also nice and super expensive shopping
- must try their local croissants and coffee. also the city has a water system built by the romans 2000 yrs ago. still functioning. and that's the only 'pure' water source for the whole city. you will see those water taps at every piazza. dont buy the 4 euro bottled water.

very well put....

dont waste too much time on collosseum, cover it within a hour and get away, spend quality time at the piazzas on route to Trevi and walk around...

I would add Vatican for atleast 4-5 hrs......

beware of pickpocters and ROME central station chuttu chaala dodgey area....look out....you would be fine....but dont be cornered at late night, also at Left luggage if you are using that facility.....
