Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has finally found a friend in President Pranab Mukherjee and makes it a point to call on him at Rashtrapathi bhavan late evenings whenever he went to Delhi.WQhy is he meeting the President, who politically has no advantage ? said some of his close aides to CM Kiran often . It was only last time that theCM spilled out the bean aout the secret of his meeting with the President . OPresident Panab is one of the staunch congress leaders who is also detested by the Congress president and UPA chair person Sonia Gandhi .She had shunted him to Presidents post so that Pranab will not be a contestant to PM post which she has been reserving for Rahul since almost a decvade. So Pranab has also been nursing secret revenge against Sonia ,particularly after she relegated him from any decision making role in the party . Pranab has been biefing Kiran on happenings in the party ( though he is dark about most of developments since his Presidents posts). But Pranab has also been assuring Kiran that he will not approve or put his stamp on Telagnana bill till it is endorsed with a positive approval from the AP assembly .
