meeru setup vishayaalu chaalaa choodaali.. unlike most self-proclaimed easy-to-setup DLNA devices, no wonder Chromecast is a lot quicker, but it still isn't entirely intuitive and comes with a User Manual and/or Online Documentation. Laptop lo Chrome Browser lo tab ni cast chesthey tab exactly shame-to-shame extended desktop laagaa streaming avuthundi, over your Wifi. There is hell of networking happening over Wifi, as compared to screen-sharing/extended desktop with HDMI or similar wired devices. OS chaala slow avuthundi. Chrome Browser lo YouTube Adobe Flash Player ki kinda chinnagaa Cast button okati vuntundi, adi vaadinaa... or Mobile Device (phone or tablet) lo YT app lo video ki same-to-same Cast Button vaadinaa... only the video content URL is passed over to the Chromecast device, which will continue to pull the video over the internet. This is evidently a lot faster, doesn't slow down the Sender OS. Not sure if ESPN3 is already supporting that Cast Button, or you tried casting the browser tab with the espn3 link in it. Desktop Websites and Mobile Websites are yet to come up to speed to implement the appropriate casting logic for this to work effectively without heavily relying on the Chrome Browser native OS of the laptop.
