you are leaving the country before your 194 is expired . so you dont need i94 from sep 19th thru oct 4th coz you are not residing inthe US. if you enter US on oct 4th with your new passport you are good enough. and More over you will not get any I94 anymore nexttime you enter US coz they stopped issueing i94 since april2013. everything will be online. there are no expiration dates on i94 anymore. your h1 expiration date is your i94 expiration. | ||

frnd kosam: I had visa in my passport till March 2014 but my passport is getting expired on Sep 19th 2013. When I was coming back into US last time, I was issued I-94 till Sep 18th 2013 and asked to get new I-94 by re entering into country before current I-94 expired. I'm planning to travel to India on Sep 9th and returning on Oct 4th. Now my question is do I need to come back into country before Sep 19th only or is that acceptable to come into US on Oct 4th by taking new I-94 Can someone please enlighten me on this?
