So I did think of hard-boiled but the issue is they do break on impact..so couldn't think of a way to deduce the floors .. You could drop it from 100th and see if it breaks - if it does not the answer is 1, if it does , then you have to try with the other ..and still may not get it right... will wait to see if someone has a better answer here's one for you before I head out A man gave his two sons , 2 dimes and a nickel- what is the time ?
