These days building a market value for film stars is not just about signing big films it is also about bagging endorsement deals with big brands. This is one reason why there is tough competition between the Bollywood stars on this matter. However, it looks like Ram Charan is way behind the rest in this race. Apparently, he is the brand ambassador for Tata Docomo but after that there is nothing. These days the brand experts don’t quote the name of Ram Charan and there is a reason for that. They say there is no energy in his body language in ads and he manages the show with just the voice modulation. This is one reason why he is no longer in priority list. These days ads are devised to attract the youth and being a young star, his target audience would be them. Whether it is Charan’s decision to stay away from brand endorsement deals or whether it is really the brand experts staying away, the loss will be to the star hero as he loses out on brand imaging. |
