T agitation - How it started Elagu TDP T ki ok ani cheppindhi kabatti sarigga cheppani YSRCP ni irrikidhamani cong plan; mana kantini penta ni YSRCP ki antiddhamu ani cong cheppina dhanni pattuku tirugutunna TDP. here are the facts i know. anybody can refute them. I include dones which are written only. 1998 - BJP state unit passes resolution for 2 states 1998-1999 - Indra reddy after being sidelined after NTR Coup, started T Forum. It never got required attention due to his untimely accidental death. 2000 - BJP Govt creates 3 new states. This raised hopes for T vadulu. I still remember the paper news that J.Ratnakara Rao, MLA from Karimnagar Dst has vowed at Telangana Amara Veerula Stupham to fight for T state. Slowly cong T leader wanted to request for T state. Chennareddy along with 41 legislators requested YSR permission to send a request to center/Sonia for looking at prospects of T formation. YSR allowed as there is nothing wrong in making a request. He did not endorse the state formation but endorsed the request to look into prospects for it. Sonia forwarded the letter to NDA Govt in center. NDA rejected the proposal in writing. This is the key here. So anuy YSR hand in sending the proposal is washed away 2001- KCR starts party. There is a myth if CBN is in power, he would have stopped T. Look at 2001. He could not stop KCR from winning his assembly seat, can't stop TRS winning NZMB ZP elections and major party in Karimnagar/Waranagal. i dont recollect exactly which one. Either wasy, this proves, CBN does not have mettle to stop T even in power. Seeing the KCR growth, T cong leaders wanted to align with them for elections. This was done with opposition from YSR. rest all you know is history. so to blame YSR is not only untrue but sickening. | ||
