How does it matter which state you have to go to? You have to travel X distance and Y hours, borders are meaningless..ippudu nellore folks more readily go to Madras than Hyderabad, anthe..ananthapur people prefer to do business in Bangalore than Hyd anthe...how are borders important | ||

:-) Nalgonda dist and Khammam dists will be with T - just parts of those dists along the Highway need to be opened up and it is not a great distance either. And anyways - Khammam - lo large part will be with andhra (along Godavari) as the people there want to be with Andhra....and the upward areas will be with T | ||

A solution can be worked out.... parts of Nalgonda and Khammam can be merged with Andhra.... In this case, the only solution that meets this criterion is the Chandigarh model. Somehow is feel that this is what will ultimately result. No way is Seema going to accept a VJA or Vizag as the capital. They have already lost twice, would not like to run the risk of a third time slap on the face. | ||

idhi jaragadhu...There have been many attempts in the past to create this issue....and no one was interested. Once when BHPV was on the verge of being referred to BIFR, during a meeting a Trade union leader said - all these problems are because we do not have a separate UA state - he was beaten up by the employees - and they got on with thier work i.e. got the MP and CM (janardhana Reddy and YSR) to support merger of BHPV with BHEL - problem resolved. | ||

Correct 2 is the best choice - But it will never become a reality - North Indians will not agree. Even South lo except for Karnataka, the others i..e TN and kerala will not support it strongly. | ||

In the given context...... 1. make Hyderabad as permanent capital with UT status - people from Andhra will also be happy - but stiff opposition from Telangana 3. Give 2 separate capitals - make Hyd as UT and make as second capital after Delhi. - forget about peetha Telugus - North Indians will oppose this.People like Kapil sibal will immediately put this in dust bin 3. Make Hyd as common capital for 10 years and Andhra builds a separate capital - workable if.... Andhra chooses a capital city which becomes a growth driver and yet decentralises the administration. Make Vizag as capital - but have a HC bench in Tpt and also have a branch office of the State Secretarait in Tpt. there is already a HC bench in Guntur. same way - imp govt offices should also be set up in Tpt. No.3 is most workable - but the people of Andhra should stop thinking about MAAA OOORU and think about the larger state and also recognize that growth and development is urban centric whether we like it or not. |
