in 2007 i created a fully configured and developed solution in a demo system... then i created a nice power point of my solution... then i sent emails to every AR director that i know of.... then i gave free demo's to some of them who responded... then i got few contracts among those who saw the demo... dats how i started to do what i do... 1) You need to have a company of ur own , a visiting card , insurance n the whole 9 yards... 2)you need to know 2 or 3 very good developers 3)you need to spend lot of time on marketing...go to conferences and volunteer to demo...use webinars...and even dont shy away to walk to the work place and surprise the client and take him to lunch or whatever.... 4)keep writing to sap how u did so and so for so and so industry so that sap can recomment ur name for clients if they ask sap they r trying to implement the solution that u r doing and most importantly 5) you need to have a solution .... idhi basic....my role is mostly to kick off projects n finish blue prints and sit back and manage and become active during cutover...but i am not getting enough skilled people so i do participate in testing sometimes which i dont like... | ||
