It is not the same rules everywhere. In the UK, your permanent residency (called ILR - Indefinite Leave to Remain) lapses if you are away from the country for 2 years or more. Bro..one small doubt you said something about PR in another thread. If you have a PR and planning to visit UK every 2 years to make it valid. Normally every 6 months we need to travel to make PR valid instead of 2 years. Why I am asking this is, me also planning to take PR not for UK but for Germany. I believe there should be same rules for PR all over the world..correct me if I am wrong |
