My morning pre work out meal is
One banana
One cup plain Greek yogurt
One medium size sweet potato
Especially on weight lifting days

Kick boxing days
One banana
One cup plain Greek yogurt
Driving is my PASSION.
Ball or Bimmer does not matter.

40% protein 40% carbs 20% good fats
Or

60% protein 30% carbs 10% good fats

Pre work out eat one full of medium size sweet potato
Just bake or boil

You get so much energy to lift weights
It’s my personal experience

This is the best pre work out meal :-)
Driving is my PASSION.
Ball or Bimmer does not matter.

f you don't have sledger then start doing body weight lounges minimum 20 steps count
You will see your legs get enough tension and very soon your legs become strong

Remember eat well too but healthy food and good sleep
Without excessive food you don't see much growth in muscles

mmmm.. carbs or protein .. or both.. may be less carbs and more protein!

Bharateeyudu:

There is one more exercise I don't see many doing it

You know exercise ball start with 25 lbs

Walking with that

You put that on your chest use two hand as if you hug your girl friend
But not tight hug and never hold at bottom of ball

You should use your paws on the opposite side of ball.
Means one end of ball your chest another end of ball your two paws

And then walk minimum 20 to 30 steps one way
this also helps build back muscles and it bumps your heart beat too much
Driving is my PASSION.
Ball or Bimmer does not matter.

That's why compound exercises are nothing but functional body moevements that we do on part of
Day to day routine

So try to do compound movement exercises than isolated exercises :-)

After doing these exercises to test myself I do carry Costco water bottles 24 count or 6 count big water bottles I keep on my arms carry all 5 floors using stairs

Initially it was difficult but now a days it's ok :-)

My architect and fellow workers keep says why don't use elevator but I don't

It's shame for me to use elevators:-)

thx bro.. howmuch do you lift with hexbar?
btw,any good hexbar suggestion from amazon india?

180kgs gym competition lo 1 rep ki I didnt win though would have won if it was through weight category..but usually does around 165kg for 5 reps. ..

I dont know if they have it..but USI/domyos are only good enough brands in india..check with decathalon if they have it..

Whyme:

Hex bar tho walking valla emi help vunkuls

pretty famous exercise..farmers walk..your traps, core and legs will become as tough as iron .. personally will term it as greatest exercise for body..one need not do any other exercise..I usually recommend people to do this who dont want to go to gym!!!

I do it in my house with pair of buckets filled with water quite regularly(12kg each)..and walk quite a distance.. almost 450ft non stop sometimes even climb stairs with it.. :D

gym lo antha space vundadu..janaalu lenappudu naa trap day ainappudu chesthu vuntaa trap bar tho..
waiters walk is another variation of it..also great exercise but equally dangerous exercise

Bharateeyudu:

You are lifting weight from point A to point B in both cases .. and hex bar is more efficient way than standard deadlift.. hence you move considerably high amount of weight than conventional d/l.

generally hexbar dl = (120-140)% of standard d/l

In hex bar you use traps, lats and quads(predominantly) when compared to standard deadlift which uses posterior chain. Since you have weak posterior opt for hex bar .

I like hexbar because its more functional movement than a deadlift and do it on leg day alternating with hack and jefferson squat..(infact hex bar dl is more safer quad exercise than conventional back squat)

Driverramudu:

Me started with 225lbs. It took 3 or 4 sessions but my trainer kind of very
Aggressive he always increase weight 50% or so between sets some tiime even more
One way it's good as it gives shock or surprise to my body
One way it's bad is I might compromise mind muscle connection

nice.. btw ...whats your weight if u dont mind.... starting with 225lbs feels high for my weight ....for you it must be ok..

hex bar is good if you like to ride cycle too..it increases your power to pedal and also increases your jump..

Nothing beats it
Once you got enough leg muscles then you can try deadlift

I would suggest start with less or reasonable weight
Like getting warm up it also helps mind and muscle connection.

Once you warmup and connection established well then go to maximum
Min one rep to give shock or surprise to your bod

ya.. . this may be better... I would try...howmuch did it take for you to be able to lift 300+ lbs?

With hex bar 315lbs

With barbell 275lbs

good weight bro.. I can lift 95KGs only with olympic bar that too very few reps..
Hex bar must be good for me..
BTW, is there any alternative exercise to deadlift with the same effect... I feel deadlift is tough for me given my weak knees and lower back

DR, what do you think about German Strength training method? Is doing more reps with less weight and doing less reps with more weight good for overall health and strength?
having more defined muscle is not my goal.... my goal is getting better functional body with good strength..

Driverramudu:

I have both
This is my personal experience

With Olympic barbell hands are front side holing barbell horizontally so have to get use of that
And also with this you put little more pressure on lower back than upper back

Where as hex bar you hold bar vertically and you use your upper back as well not only lower back
It's very comfortable way doing for me as I can use full back with hex bar

So I think I can buy a hex bar for deadlift.. theoretically, it looks to me, hex bar looks more comfortable and we can lift more weight as well...

may I know what's the difference between the weight you can lift between Hex Bar and Olymic barbel?

Which one is better for deadlift?

Can Hex Bar deadlift give the same benefits as that of Olympic Barbell?
For me Olympic barbell deadlift hurts my lower back even with proper form...
Would Hex bar be better for me?
