IMO Ravi babu is a new age sensational director....prathi director edo scene or situation or plot some movie nunchi inspire avutharu...but mana nativity ki evaru baga close ga seyagalugutharo valley creative in my opinion( although they dont create anything literally) Nakal marney kay liye akal chahiye and Ravi babu has plenty of akal..low budget and new cast tho hits thats reflection of directors sheer talent | ||

I would definitely go with Yeleti for sheer originality. Sukumar was good in arya but I hated arya2 to the core, its perhaps the worst movie of recent times. Neelakanta is also very good. Missamma and I really liked sada mee sevalo...except venu could have been easily replaced by any other. | ||

Humpty bro,in most cases, the quality of movie technically is directly proportional to the amount of finance that a director could convince the producer for. the issue with Yeleti is that his scripts does not usually revolve around lead characters, but rather he creates a situation and his characters revolve around the situation, so there is no lead character or hero in a normal sense of movie, and i think this effects the type of producers he gets. i think he tried one movie with a lead character, and it dint click, that movie did not have enough juice in the plot, and it came out pretty mediocre. the world of appearances may or may not be real, or both may and may not be real - or may be indescribable; or may be real and indescribable, or unreal and indescribable; or in the end may be read and unreal and indescribable - its all Syadvada | ||

Arya 2 is one of my all time faves in telugu.. granted there are few things that i feel could have been handled better, movie was top notch. Allu grew leaps and bounds from Arya to Arya 2. Sukumar is way ahead the rest of the others. Yeleti has good narration skills but his movies do not have the same level of quality in music, screenplay, and photography. his movies are as good as his scripts, he does not add any other value to his movies via other trades. Krish - gamyam had good narration complemented by some good acting, and gripping scenes, flashes of screenplay. but he still is not at his best anipisthadhi Rajamouli - has good narration capabilities, has good eye for visuals/music, and is capable for some powerful screenplay, but tends to follow a formula in his movies. his movies are good in snapshots, especially visuals, but does not maintain the same quality in the entire movie, it appears as though he selects which scenes should come out good, and does not really worry, if the rest of the scenes go mediocre. wat makes someone a good dir??? someone who has an excellent eye of visuals someone who can create characters which will remain with ur 4ever someone who can address that part of personality of ur brain thats not adrressed b4 again n again someone who has an excellent understanding of choreographing a scene.... and above all someone who is freaking original For me the best dir of TFI in Curr gen is Sukumar with a capital S Lemme tell u why....I saw Arya .... I did like it...but AA was horrible in it except in a couple of scenes.... may be a good performer would have made wonders to that script and i would have given him benefit of doubt for addressing the concept of uncoditional love in a more popular way than baran I saw bits n pieces of that ram n sukumar movie ...i forgot the title... but when i heard its an inspiration of city of god i consciously avoided it...may be i shouldn't then I watched ARYA2....OMG....I swear i watched 1000s of movies...but i never watched a more original movie than arya....I mean the personality of arya in arya2 is sooooooo original that its never been explored in any film industry b4 and AA evolved into a superrr performer in it that it made that movie one of the top5 films i have seen in telugu.... Its like the Most Original Shxt I have seen in Telugu films for a long long time..... The characterization of hero who seems to u like an unconditional lover/friend but who has to fight with his own inner demons (ego or selfishness or jealousy or watever u call it) its freaking natural n completely original.... and the visuals.... OMG ....the putography.... haunting anthey... and the picturization of songs....Sukumar is a poet who can give mani ratnam a run for his money.... and the supporting characters....damn that guy who is the son of villain...it caight me by so much surprise..... I think Sukumar is the best dir in TFI compared to Everyone who gave blockbusters in last 10 years.... I hope he stays away from remaking city of gods n focus on addressing that part of human psychology thats never been addressed b4...he is awesome...i sae gamyam...bussss....i saw yeletis first movie....gurrrrrrrr......i saw rajamouli n Puris movies...yack thuuu.... Sukumar scores with his first 3 movies.....anukuntunna |
