Leonard Euler...A legacy unchallenged through the flux of time 1771: Completely blind and as of 1778 he was publishing a paper per week!!!!! His work is 75 volumes thick and they are still printing his work....as I type it... After his death, his unpublished papers amounted to 228!!!!!!!!!!! He published more work dead than any living post modern mathematician...... There are only 2 mathematicians whose work is being studied in its original form even after 75 years after their death... Euler and Ramanujam...... The most elegant equation in entire mathematics is the Euler identity connecting Pi,e,1 and 0....... |
