I use the Gyration media center remote with built-in air mouse. It works as remote for most windows applications. With a flick of a button, it behaves as an air-mouse. Very convenient. both..plannin to buy wireless kb/mouse combo...WMC is not able to play 90% of my d/l movies...VLC player often stutters even for 720P...rite now XBMC is only playing everythng smoothly for me...yeah n also will upgrade to W7 in future | ||

First, I would upgrade to 7 which has better codec support out-of-the-box. I usually try WMC first then fall back to VLC. Do you want to control everything via remote or working with keyboard/mouse OK? | ||

what is your os? os x aithe, go for xmbc or plexapp. windows lo nothing beats WMC. Tried Sage but not impressed. Boxee is still limited in functionality compared to WMC. | ||
