I mean one generation. Take a family of 5 children for example in a SC/ST or backward caste give reservations to those 5 children, give them access to the best of education, provide them all avenues to grow - end of story why do their children and their grandchildren need it? that is my point. In the above case the family of 5 take reservations and lets say they went all the way and got good education earning well enough, why should their children and their children have the facility to use the same reservation? The idea of reservation is to bring out people who were suppressed and did not have avenues to study and grow higher in the society. Does a financial status reservation cover all the people who are disadvantaged due to their condition? why should it be caste based? that is my kocchen i say. Most of them finish their study in 5-6 years as opposed to 4...they pay 0 Rs as fee either at hostel or any other facilities.... Even after IIT most of them shamelessly use their reservations to get into IES,IAS etc... in 5 decades of reservations there has never been a reserved guy who topped a subject in any IIT as far as I know...in Madras, I am sure.... In as much as it sounds sad, they seldom mix with their counterparts largely owing to a huge complex that they develop owing to consistent failure to pass exams that others do so easily..... infact they are given what is called a Prep course for 1 year at each IIT...that means they teach them to compete at IIT...for heaven's sake!!!!!!!!!!! Check with any of ur sources...its a fact that none of the fwd guys like to hang out with them....once you say your rank in a ragging session, people figure out whether there is a chance for that rank to make it to that branch...if they know that it is some filth who back stabbed his way through the doors, they are almost isolated...no body hangs out with them.... There are almost a bubbling hatred to such laughable stock sitting along side some of the smartest brains of the country...be it IIT or any one...to me people using reservations are no more than beggars | ||
