Calif lo OT ki double pay.. but OT ki approval antha veeji gaa raadu.. If at all you have to work OT, then they will ask you to bank those hours and take a paid vacation time later.. OT pay ee economy lo ye shunta ichhedi? My frend weekends 24hrs on call lo untaadu.. but only when there is a call he is suppose to quote those hours.. idi ikkadi market range.. Annai nenu maa office lo adiga....I work 40 hrs a week OT.. They said if your pay rate is more $26 or $28(didnt remember exactly), you are supposed to pay ST pay rate. As you said, it varies from state to state.. I m not aware of this rule. If you don't like Something, Change it. If you can't Change it, Change the way you think about it. | ||

Ashton, overtime rules varies from state to state AND in most of the states computer professionals are exempted from OT pay. i.e even if you work OT : OT payrate will be same as ST payrate... Time and Half OT rate i dont think applies to you. gimme ur work state | ||

in OT pay, you will get 1.5 times the normal pay anukunta. but ur taxed only on the 100% of it, and 50% not taxed anukuntunna | ||
