True. I like latin american style more. There is so much pace in latin style you feel like your almost watching a basket ball game.. The midfeilder similar to a point guard in basket ball, controls the ball and you got 2 strikers closing the opposite side goal post.. the play simulates a wave formation.. you wont notice a wave untill it is in your face.. Argentina and Brazil induke popular teams ayyayi.. Maradona was the greatest midfielder the game ever saw..claudio kannigia and batistuta ki perfect ga goal set up chesi ichevadu appatlo.. Zidane is the next best. | ||

Italy defense not attractive game antaru gaani have u ever seen them tackling n marking some of the best attackers of the game like zidane or those brazilian forwards...its absolute beauty man.... I still remember its the 2000 EURO championship....zidane was in full flow....it seemed like not even a bull dozer or those massive road contruction equipments could even stop him.....he was INVINCIBLE....he was flowing like a butterfly n stinging like a bee like mohd ali....and then it was the finals with the azurris....and there was our maldini....his one on one with zidane in that match it of absolute class and it talks a lot about how a defender can also make the game look so attractive....u see the moves zidane makes when he dribbles past the defender....maldini was counter attacking him with the same moves n snatches the ball away from him .....u see that and u feel like there are two dudes performing ballet than playing soccer....italy lost the finals thats a diff issue....but when it comes to defense they do make it look attractive if U just pay attention to them.... even now u observe italian defense.....the way they snatch the ball from an opposites forward n control the ball with in their penalty area without no panic it talks a lot about their skills as defendors....its pure art | ||

Italy defence meeda ekkuva conc sethar anipisthundi..they just wait on other team to make mistakes and then they capitalise on those errors. Last WC victory atne gelicharu and France kept making mistakes and it's errors culminated in Zidane's head butting.. Attacking offense unna ye team ayina sare i will support.. right now dont have a fav so I will wait till tourney starts then i will pick up a team.. that said, I have huge soft corner for Didier Drogba so i will be happy if Ivory coast advances further.. Africa needs some hope and i wish all african countries luck. | ||

I was in a hotel in sunset blvd when italy won in 2006....there were italian flags everywhere on the streets....every restuarant was giving away free wine.....too bad i cant celebrate cause i was heart broken with zidane giving us an anti climax....but italy deserved it especially the way they came so close in 94 n 98 losing every time in shootouts....... but them winning at the expense of zidane the greates footballer of the last two decades still bothers me..... | ||

First preference Argentina....its time they make it semis n its hightime a south american country other than that boring brazil win the cup....n cant wait to see my hero maradona as coach...kiki....eccentric mofo he will make it a memorable worldcup hope so.... Second preference England.... third preference......france (I hope ribery is playing...I like france because their team is so diversifies...they even got an indian dude playing for them) Fourth Italy (The azuris got no chance this year cause their team is old...but still always was a fan of their game...esp the awesome defense n them mattarazi is not in the team so happy) dont care for germany,portugal(as figo is retired), brazil..... but i think spain will have a very very good run this time.... | ||

I think mainly 2 reasons for it.. 1. no initial encouragement to soccer players. Until year 2000..most of ranji trophy players in cricket used to travel to stadiums in buses or 2 wheelers. 2. Asia ki...only 2 slots out of 32 available slots in world cup soccer. Asia lo so many countries....top 2 antay mana vaallaki kattam. mana vaallu paper tigers kadha? look at 0-3 performance last month in 20-20 kirkit | ||
