Platy U need to pay Federal+Illinoi+social security taxes + Insurance. These are fixed costs through out. apart from that House Rent + Car (lease or buy a second cheap car) these are another set of fixed costs. Gross Pay 7k comes to : 3.5k per 15 day cycle. Fed+state+ssn+insurance easily 700-800. so Net will be in Hand 5,000 to 5,300 maxx at any point of time. | ||

Chicago residents.. please answer this question. If I am married but I am the only bread earner in the family (consists of the spouse and a kid), how much of tax will I have to pay on a gross salary of - 7K per month? (Illinois region.
