The Free market system is a system of consumption where corporations devour the smaller fish, like small family-owned businesses, and then form monopolies or oligopolies to sustain their control over their share of the market. The result is we end up with a handful of mega-corporations that control pretty much everything.

These mega-corporations then use their immense wealth and power to influence governments, so government officials will enact laws or pass bills in favor of these corporations. The people have ZERO say in this matter.

The consumers are manipulated by the sole fact that all competitive businesses are devoured by the larger corporations. If you succeed in the "free market", then consider yourself lucky because it is highly unlikely that you will. If you fail, which most of us do, then you're pretty much . You will be permanently stuck in your social position, either poor or middle class, with no hope of moving up. Keep in mind that the gap between rich and poor is increasing in the U.S.. There are more and more people living below the poverty line every day.

This so called "free market" is not a fair or just system. If you think it is, you're incredibly brainwashed or in denial.
This type of system will inevitably lead to corporate fascism.

Think about it.
