Jagat Guru Adi Sankaracharya birthday ee roju(18 may) celebrated as Sankara Jayanthi. Sankara was born in parasurama kshetra (kerala), which is the muladhara sthanam for the kundalini sakti of Bharat,since it is the southernmost end.
