THE BULL from mallorca! nadal has 18 masters titles to agassi's 17 and fed's 16. and he is just 23! Fed had opportunities by the buckets! he let them go like he has many times in the past against rafa, particularly on clay, but sometimes even on other surfaces. Nadal is the kryptonite to Roger's super-man efforts. coming to the match, roger is doing the right things but even in the faster conditions of madrid, nadal on clay is a TOTAL beast..... some super shots by the two and nadal has broken for the 2nd time to be up 4-3. roger broke back immediately after being broken the 1st time. he would be hoping for a similar thing now.... this is the business end of the set and nadal has moved into a higher gear. fed needs to find his magical gear to keep this set alive! @ elcamino : why is that hard to believe? nadal has won monaco 6 times in a row and he has won rome 5times in 6yrs. Nadal on clay is as good or better than roger/navratilova on grass and j-mac or sampras on indoor carpet and crissy evert/borg on clay I want to die, peacefully in my sleep, like my grandfather, not screaming and shouting like his passengers | ||

Fed-ex holds 1st game. 1-0. good start for fedex.... after hamburg, madrid is the best clay surface for fed to take down nadal.
