Hail_the_labour:

thanks tammi, thread vesinavu nenu vachina

bheeshma is bound by this pratignya that he will be subservient to anybody who is on the throne of Hastinapuram so he can only advise but cannot go against the wishes of the kind - Dhritarashtra

Dronacharya - is only guru by virtue of teaching the skills of warfare and does not have much importance in the hierarchy apart from that.

The only person who was able to stop the whole thing in the beginning or at any time as the blind king who chose to be quiet because he was enjoying the fact that his son was winning and living his own dreams of becoming the king.
In history there is no such thing as the last word on any subject research leads to new things every day

Ruj:

fact that dronacharya, bheeshma etc were all silent while draupadi vasthrapaharnam

Bheeshma tried several times to convince Dhritrashtra in between the game of dice but Dhritrashtra remained silent even knowing that his son moving on a destructive path,so even Bheeshma was helpless at that time.

Lets focus on the one of the mighty warrior of the Mahabharatha.

Dronacharya was born a Bharadwaja brahmin, in a place considered to be modern day Dehradun. Drona implies that he was not gestated in a womb, but outside the human body in a droon (vessel).

He was a partial incarnation of Brihaspathi.

Dronacharya spent his youth in poverty, but studied religion and military arts such as archery which he was known to have expertised together with the then prince of Panchala, Drupada.

DronaCharya-KripaCHarya are Bava/Bavamaridhis
