Hyderabad-based Mahindra Satyam has won a new order worth $40 million over five years, signaling a major step towards recovery after the company was hit by a multi-million dollar accounting scam last year that left it fighting for its survival. attrition levels at Mahindra Satyam are mounting especially at the mid- and senior-levels in the company, say sources. "The important thing is that along with the technical staff even those who were pillars and work horses of the company are leaving," said a highly placed Satyam source. "Attrition levels are well over 20% at Mahindra Satyam, which is higher than the industry average of around 15%.
