Suyodhana himself selects bheema as his equal when given a choice to choose who he wants to fight after coming out of the dwaipayana sarovaram he chooses bheema because he knows the rest are no match for him. though he knew that if he chose somebody else he would win he had lost the will to live on after losing everything in the war and so he had to fight that one last fight with Bheema because that was what he always wanted to do and was prevented number of times from doing - hand to hand combat with bheema alone in gadha yuddham In history there is no such thing as the last word on any subject research leads to new things every day | ||

that is not true. power wise bheema is more powerful than anybody in both of the armies, krishna himself says before the way. bheema has already killed hidimba,jarasandha, bakasura,keechaka and is destined to kill suyodhana. he alone kills all the 99 kaurava brothers and the 7 akshauhinis of army and you are saying he cannot defeat suyodhana? two things to consider the pratignya by bheema during the draupadi vastrapaharanam that he will break duryodhana's thighs(because he asked panchali to sit on his thighs) has to be fulfilled, according to the rule of gadha yuddham attacking a person below the waist is not valid. So if bheema sticks to his pratignya he will have to break the rule of gadha yudham and for the sake of his vow he does it ultimately. duryodhana is indeed provided the protection by his mother knowing that the dvandha yuddham between both would be inevitable and bheema would try and fulfill his pratigyna. ok idi naku interesting topic kabatti i thought of sharing my views NTR movies lo depending on which part he is playing the script is manipulated and importance given to the character. I am saying this despite being his fan, there is nobody like him who can do it. Regarding Bheema - He was one of the 6 or 7 people who were born in the same astrological combination between Magha and swati nakshatrams - Bheema,Jarasandha, Bakasura, Hidimbi, Keechaka,Duryodhana. The story is if any one of these 6 kills the other first then he would kill the rest. Jarasandha was extremely powerful and was aiming to get some magical powers by sacrificing 100 kings which is why Sri krishna takes him to kill jarasandha. Now to kill Jarasandha the person needs to be extremely powerful because when he was born he was born as to separate pieces and he was attached by a rakshasi called Jara which is why his name is Jarasandha. So when Hidimba was killed by Bheema the precedent was set. Bheema is physically stronger than Duryodhana , probably the strongest in both sides of the armies but duryodhana is more skillful to the extent that balarama says he is the better of two. Suyodhana has his mother's protection on his body where she looks at him after opening her eyes for first time (since she closed it after he marriage to Dritarashtra) and it makes his body like diamond except the portion he covered which is upped thigh. Suyodhana also knows a mantra which if chanted by doing jalasthambana for 7 days would bring back all of the dead alive( this is a boon from rishi durvasa according to some texts) which is why he takes refuge in the lake after karna dies so he can do the japam. Pandavas has torrid mental and physical strains for 12 years without proper food and rest. we cannot say Suyodhan had extra practise. But his mother applies special protective later all over the body except thighgs , so that he acquires the strenght of diamond. Balaram teches special techniques to suyodhan as he is his special. Bheema is the most powerful among jarasandha, keechak, suyodhan , bhakasur I wish to make my humble contribution in gathering and disseminating the truth about the great Lord Bhima, who re-incarnated as Sri Madhva in Kali Yuga. The greatest compliment to Bhima comes from Duryodhana. He names Bhima, Balarama, Keechaka and Shalya as the best warriors and the strongest. He names Bhima first! In the Mahabharata, Karna is defeated on numerous ocassions by Bhima, forcing Karna to retreat every single time! Bhima alone kills every single Kaurava cousin! During the war, he killed six out of eleven Akshouhinis fielded by the Kauravas The Mahabharata describes that when the war commenced, he gave such a fierce and loud roar that horses and elephants standing there passed out. In spite of his enormous strength and knowledge, he was the epitome of humility. In the Udyoga parva, when Lord Krishna collects the opinion of the Pandavas before approaching the Kauravas, Bhima is made to give a description of his own capabilities to everyone (by Krishna). At the end of Bhima’s narrative (which is overwhelming for any other warrior), Krishna tells him that his capability is actually 1000 times more than what he has mentioned! | ||

Same logic would apply to Arjuna. He was the best fighter for Pandavas. He did get some extra training in Indra lokam (I suppose) but was not preparing for war 24/7 ani naa opinion. Also Pandavas, Jungle to direct war raledu kadaa.. Bheema fought for 18 days before facing the last fight. | ||

senapathy aranyavasam and aj~anatavasam time lo bheemudu did not had much practice per mahabharata. This is one reason to send them out into jungles where professional practice cannot be done. where as duryodhana all these years practiced very well and technically there is no way bheema could beat him so easily. having said that i do condemn NTR's extra curricular activies. when he portrays keechaka then also bheema is weak . rest ippudu janalu vachchi voogutaaru anukuntunna oogutunna janalandarikee naa vandanaalu!! | ||

Ninna malli choosa. As an actor, NTR has given excellent performance as Duryodhana. Kaani they have not shown Pandavas as strong and valiant during the war episodes. Especially last fight between Duryodhana and Bheema.. Papam Satyanarayana chaala tannulu tinnadu for portraying the role of Bheema. Duryodhana and Bheema were equal in fight and Krishna suggested Bheema to hit on the thighs (the only place where Duryodhana was weak) to end the conflict. Movie lo Bheemudu tannulu tinadam showed poor taste. NTR role ni elevate cheyadam kosam story ni change cheyyadam avasaramaa?
