Worth the effort. JFK lo private rooms very limited. So you have to share the room with someone... hence father can't stay with family in the night. St Peter's has lot of private rooms (some of them are brand new) so it is easy to get one.. unless you are unlucky... If you get private room, you can stay with the family in the night. Epidural teesukunte 99.9% pains teliyavu... so go for that without second thought. Don't think too much on side affects of epidural. Only 0.2% cases lo vuntaayi avi (like head aches or back pains in future etc) Edison area lo vunna few female gyn docs lo couple of them are very good. But one doesn't take insurance. So you pay upfront and then file claim with Ins. Tedious process. She works that way because she is in demand and some people don't bother going through paper work to get best doc. None of the desi docs in the area are good. Sangeeta Dave (most popular one), Darshana Desai, Sheela chowbey... none of them are professional. But the sad thing is, most of our desis goes to them... check out the ratings in RateMD site. Sangeeta Dave - Expect waiting of at least 2 hours+ in the evenings or weekends. Day time lo 1 hour+ min waiting. NEVER returns your calls even if the reports are bad. I can go on and on... Sheela - worst doc. Came to the visiting room with a noodle bowl in hand. What the hell? No professionalism. Darshana Desai - Relatively better. But still long wait times. Very rarely returns the calls. Most of these docs work in multiple hospitals. During delivery time if they already have another person in labor at the other hospital... god help you. You will have to go with last min shift doc from the hospital (who may not know anything about patient's history). Why do we still go these? Because most of the American docs work as a group. And some of them will be MEN. And mana desi culture nundi vachina girls ki male docs ante they will say NO. If you are willing to travel few minutes, then try the RWJUH docs in New Brunswick area.
