public transportation is good, but car kooda problem undakapovachu.. depends on the locations, actually if you can..try the sightseeing tours in SFO. some $80 per person anukunta (i am not exactly sure), they have good packages downtown/ferry/lombard st./alcatraz anni kalipi untayi like a 4 hr trip anukunta.. There are some other places that may be of your interest 1. Palm Springs - Rope way to the top of the mountain is good (about 3 hrs drive from LA) 2. Magic Mountains - more adventurous rides 3. In Coronado island, there is a 'Coronado state beach' .. rachhal beach.. you get good tides and simply supperb anuko.. esp bachelors velthe rachhal cheyyochhu.. Hotel reco: This is what I do when visit a place. Choose place deggarlo teesukuntaa or based on price, if driveable koddigaa dooram pothaa.. Then go to priceline/hotwire and get a quote. Adi choosi, priceline lo name your price chestaa.. as you can definitely save 40% as advertised on priceline.. However, he will give you a region to pick hotel from and star rating. Already choosina hotels on hotwire/expedia, 3star hotels untai.. so you will know which hotel you will get if your price is accepted.. So, pick atleast 3star rating and region that is closer to your visiting area - quote atleast 60% of the initial quote.. 99% you will get it..
