good one Humpty bagundi nee review, nenu YMC chusanu, Josh cam print chusanu, I saw lot of improvement from josh to YMC in Naga Chaitanya, nuvvannatlu dance vishayam lo koncham sraddha pettali, kurradiki body movements akward ga vunnayi chala chotla... but yes the second half speech scene and JD ki warning icchey scene lo dialogue delivery chala simple yet effective ga cheppadu anipinchindi naku... When you point a fingre at some body remember that there are three fingers pointing at you and one finger pointing at God | ||

Josh is a very good movie, not sure why it was a flop. May be because the story was kind of old. But NC's performance was really awesome. disclaimer: nenu YMC movie inka chudaledhu. all my comments and observations about Naga Chaitanya are limited to Josh only. Josh - title sounds very enthusiastic, but what about movie? I saw this movie with zero expectations and by the end of the movie I was happy and angry at the same time. dil raju and nag akkineni have to be commended for choosing such a subject. angry that baaga tiyyalsina movie nee dobbetaaru. Direction- Screenplay - Story - Vasu kurrod manchi story ennukunnadu. adolescence/college life lo vachay freedom nee sarigga deal cheyyaka pothay how it effects not only you but also others anay concept. ppl like teja have taken a dig at this in the past but I like this one (compared to others) for the honesty in the story. Human emotions nee chala subtle gaa rasaaadu. You will take time to understand why the character is doing so and so. Screenplay is a ON and OFF. konni scenes too good, konni scenes drag anipinchaayi. Direction was pretty bad in first half. Movie chala slow, disconnected scenes tho unnattu anipinchindhee. Interval title padaysariki , I was left fuming. intha manchi concept nee ippatiwaraku ila chesaadu ani. Coming to second half, atleast 50% improvement. Flashback episode was very good. Climax routine but not too boring. Dialogues bagunnayi. all in all reality kee deggara gaa tiyyataniki try chesaadu. I could easily relate to JD and students characters. there was nothing superfluous about them. Artists- NC - Opening shot of NC was very impressing. It showed the effort he put in - at least physical -unlike some others who have been thrust on TFI audience. acting vishayaniki vasthay his first half performance looked straight out of the school of sunil shetty and john abraham. okka expression sarigga ledhu. second half lo baaga pickup chesaadu. flash back speech performace was very good. first lo koncham ooogadu but then the monologue came out pretty well. i really liked the scene where he runs out after the speech- in a state of guilt, denial, confusion. dance vishayam lo no use in competing with mega batch, simple steps with good body language tho set chesukovaali. PR - still shows why he is the best of the lot. his one on one scenes with NC and his reaction after his son's death are good. and ee movie lo "PRAMA" anataaki scope ledhu :-) so no complaints at all. heroine - is okay. andharu she is not beautiful ani annaru. but purely from story POV you do not need an an aishwarya rai to hog the limelight. her char was a girl next door and i think she did pretty decent. JD - did the role of oka calculative person pretty convincingly. all in all, ee movie nee ink abaaga handle chestay it cud have been another shiva. it shows that talent like RGV does not step in every day. razesh cheppinattu there cud be a million things which come in the way from script to screen. i think some of them did spoil this movie overall - 3/5 |
